Passing CSR-DIW Assessment for the 11th Consecutive Year
Recently, the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, announced that WCP Mahachai Plant’s CSR-DIW Continuous project, implemented from January to October 2025, has successfully passed the assessment.
The official announcement and award ceremony are expected to take place in January 2026.
Highlight Project 2025: “Herbal Balm Training for Pain Relief and Insect Bites”
In 2025, WCP carried out the project “Herbal Balm Training for Pain Relief and Insect Bites” in collaboration with the Khung Samphao community, Tha Sai Subdistrict, Mueang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province.
Project Objectives
- Encourage community participation and make productive use of free time
- Enable households to produce herbal balm for personal use
Results
Target: At least 30 participants Result: 50 participants (167% of target)
Target: At least 80% of trainees pass the test Result: 100% passed (50 out of 50 participants)
Satisfaction: Average score of 96.56% from participants

Project Highlights
Knowledge Transfer: Laboratory staff applied testing and formulation expertise to develop balm recipes and taught cost calculation.
Value Creation: Participants gained practical skills for household use and income generation through sales.
Community Relevance: Balm addressed common needs such as muscle pain relief and insect bites, matching local labor conditions.
Sustainability: Standardized curriculum ensures communities can continue production and expand independently.
